Cargovate for warehouse operators

Receive against the supplier's ship notice on a handheld, put stock away to its home bin with the lot intact, see what is on hand, promised and available, and pick waves by soonest expiry — one task at a time.

Transcript

Most stock problems are not about how many units a site holds. They are about which bin they are in, which lot they came from, and whether they are already promised to an order.

In Cargovate, a supplier's ship notice arrives before the lorry. On the dock, the handheld receives against it. Scan an item that is not on the notice, and it is caught.

Scan the right one, and the declared lot is already filled in. Four are missing, and the line says so.

What is received lands on the receiving dock, closed to picking until it is put away. Putaway planning sends each line to its home bin first.

On the handheld, the lot stays with the stock all the way to the shelf.

Stock is held by bin, by lot and by expiry. On hand, good, reserved and available are kept apart, and damaged stock is never available.

Stock reserved for open orders is planned into a wave and released to the floor. Release allocates real bins by soonest expiry, and orders the work by bin.

Handhelds are given one task at a time. The picker scans the bin and the item before confirming a quantity.
