Cargovate for fleet operators

Preventive fleet maintenance by kilometres, engine hours or date: see what is due across the fleet and which vehicles have no reading, complete work orders with the reading at which the work was done, and keep a component history for every vehicle.

Transcript

For a fleet operator, downtime is the cost that matters. A missed service interval becomes a breakdown. Spreadsheets and calendar reminders track dates well, and usage badly, and usage is what wears a vehicle out.

In Cargovate, a service can come due by kilometres, engine hours or date. The board shows what is due across the fleet, and counts separately the vehicles whose reading has not been reported. Unknown is not the same as fine.

Each schedule is worked out from its own interval and the latest odometer reading. This truck has a full service every 15,000 km, and is 400 short.

Type in a new reading, and the service comes due.

A work order is raised against the truck and the schedule, and completed with the reading at which the work was done.

The schedule restarts from that reading: 15,000 km from the last service. And a completed work order cannot be signed off again.

Parts are recorded as fitted to a vehicle, and later removed, so every truck carries its own component history.

One serial can only be fitted in one place at a time. Try to fit it to a second truck, and you are told where it already is.
