How to trace a recalled material lot to every unit and shipment
A supplier reports a bad lot. One question finds every unit built from it, directly or through a sub-assembly, which of them have shipped and on which shipment. A nonconformance then holds the lot.

A supplier tells you a material lot is bad. The question is simple: what did we build from it, and has any of it shipped? On spreadsheets, answering it takes days.
In Cargovate, open Material lots. Each lot shows what was received, and how much is left.
Click, What was built from this? One question returns every unit that contains the material.
Directly, or through a sub-assembly. Depth shows how far removed each unit is from the lot.
Units marked shipped have already left. Those are the ones a customer notification is about.
Open one, and its record lists every shipment that has carried it.
Then contain it. Raise a nonconformance on the lot, and it goes on hold. No further use, and units already built from it cannot be released until it is decided.
Trace a recalled lot to every unit and every shipment, in one question. Cargovate, at cargovate.com.
