Transcript
This is Cargovate. Let's book a container from Shanghai, for a customer in Manchester.
Click New Shipment, and fill in the basics: your reference, origin and destination, the carrier and Incoterms, then weight, value and contents.
Create it, and the shipment has its own page, with everything you entered in one place.
Next, plan the journey, leg by leg. First the sea leg, Shanghai to Felixstowe, under the Maersk bill of lading.
Cargovate tells you straight away whether it can track that number for you, or will simply store it.
Then the road leg on to Manchester. Type the tracking number as printed, and Cargovate works out the carrier from the number.
Both legs sit on one itinerary, with their scheduled times, so your whole team works from the same plan.
