How to approve a custody handoff
Shipment coordinator training, task 4 of 6: check the shipment, the receiver, the place and the condition, then approve or reject. Approved, the handoff joins the shipment's chain of custody.

Every custody handoff needs a second person. In your practice workspace, your trainer has left one waiting for you.
Open Approvals. It lists the handoffs waiting for someone other than the person who proposed them.
Check the shipment, who is taking the goods and where, and the condition noted.
If it matches what happened, click Approve. If it does not, click Reject.
The handoff is now on the shipment's chain of custody.
On your Learn page, Approve a handoff is now ticked.
