Enter each vehicle's odometer or engine hours, how much it is used, and its service interval. You get every next service in date order, by mileage, hours or months, whichever comes first, and a calendar file of the due dates. It runs in your browser: nothing you enter is uploaded.

How it counts

The method, so you can check the answer

Due by reading: the reading at the last service plus the interval. A service at 38,900 miles with a 10,000-mile interval is due at 48,900.
When that will be: the distance or hours still to go, divided by the average use per day, rounded up to whole days. With no average use, only the date is planned.
Due by time: the date of the last service plus the interval in months. A month that is shorter than the starting day ends on its last day, so 31 January plus one month is 28 or 29 February.
Next due is whichever of the two comes first. A vehicle is overdue once either one has passed, and due soon within 14 days.

Preventive maintenance questions

Should I service by mileage or by date?

Use the interval in the manufacturer's maintenance schedule for that vehicle or machine. Many give both, and the service is due at whichever comes first, which is what this planner shows.

Can it plan equipment that runs on engine hours?

Yes. Choose engine hours as the meter for that row, enter hours instead of distance, and the average hours used per day.

Where is my fleet list stored?

Only in this browser, so it is there when you come back on the same device. Nothing is sent to Cargovate or anyone else. Clear removes it.

How do the calendar reminders work?

The calendar file holds one all-day event per vehicle on its due date. Open it with your calendar app to add them. It does not update itself, so download it again after the readings change.
